November newsletter
Happy November!
Whew! This has been a busy month. I wrote a short story and started a new book, all while dealing with hurricane winds and renovations on our home. Amidst all of the rain, my daily word count went crazy -- which is good, because I have been in a bit of a writing slump lately.
This month is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo, as it is commonly called)! I have accepted the NaNoWriMo Challenge, which is to write 50,000 words in one month. Today, which is day seven of the month, I am at 13,000 words, which is pretty much on schedule. Let me get deeper into this bad boy and then I will spill more details, maybe in next month's newsletter. :)

A month or so ago, I was approached about writing a short story for an anthology. An anthology is a collection of short stories from different authors. I almost passed on the request, I don't have a lot of ideas for short stories floating around in my head. But then ... I thought about all of the requests I've had for a Hollywood Dirt sequel. I don't plan to write a sequel, but I did want to give the readers a little present -- a glimpse of life AFTER Hollywood Dirt ends.
